WHO ARE WE?

Derek Proch and Nicholas Jones are a Boston-based composing, production, and sound design duo whose work bridges orchestral storytelling, live instrumentation, and modern electronic production. Drawing from diverse musical backgrounds, they have built a reputation for creating immersive, emotionally resonant music across film, television, gaming, and digital media.

 

Their compositions have been featured in productions associated with major networks and brands including Disney, HBO, CBS, and LG. Notable credits include music placements for a trailer campaign for The Last of Us and a television spot for Italia's Got Talent. Beyond sync licensing, their original music has amassed nearly 30 million streams across digital platforms, reaching a global and continually growing audience.

 

In the gaming space, they composed the score and designed the soundscape for the award-winning video game Reiko's Fragments. The project's success led to an ongoing partnership with Pixel Canvas Studios, through which they have contributed to collaborative projects involving LG and BT Group. Most recently, they have been composing for Dhar Mann Studios, whose widely successful YouTube channel has evolved into a television series in partnership with Samsung TV Plus.

 

Their work continues to blend cinematic composition with innovative sound design, delivering compelling audio experiences across a wide range of media.
